The transdisciplinary art group Chicks on Speed (Melissa Logan & Alex Murray-Leslie) use the mind, body, science and technology as part of their practice to blur the boundaries between pop music and experimental art making.
The group expresses ephemeral experiences in performative and daring audio-visual forms to make art strange. Their spectacular multidimensional gesamtkunstwerk stage shows offer choreographed sound, utopian scenography and otherworldly opportunities. Unlike science fiction, the Chicks leave audience members with a critical ‘suspension of disbelief’…… it’s the best sound therapy session you’ll ever have.
